THE WORLD'S VERY BEST COFFEE
The Robb Report, the magazine "for the international luxury lifestyle", has picked Charlotte-based Ospina Coffee for its 16th annual "Best of the Best" list.
Ospina Coffee is owned by Charlotte resident Mariano Ospina, a fifth generation coffee grower from Colombia who debuted his beans in Dean & DeLuca stores last year. The 12 once boxes, which go for $25, are available in D&Ds from Tokyo to Manhattan to Phillips Place.
"Our readers are the richest of the rich", said Jeff Perlman, spokesman for the Malibu based Robb Report, adding that the best-of items are "not necessarily the most expensive, but they are the very best".
